Ewing Boers started in 2004 as a primary percentage/ meat goat operation focused on producing quality wethers and healthy breeding does that would fare well in a meat production market. In 2007 we decided we needed to make a significant change and dedicated ourselves to improving our herd's carcass characteristics. Our answer was RRD EWINGS FULL CHOKE T550. He is a RRD GAUGE *EN son. FULL CHOKE has tremendous length and consistently produces offspring with long loins, fantastic extension through the shoulders, and added depth in the chest.
In 2009 we made our next step. We flushed our best doe to ANR WIDE LOAD *EN and retrieved 36 embryos.
In 2010 we bred does to RUGER RELOADED EN*, RRD CANNON EN*, and HC FIX-IT-IN-A-FLASH *EN.
Finally, in 2011 we have taken our biggest step toward improvement to date. We started our own artificial insemination program. We have does bred to CSB SMOKING HOT RUGER *EN, JRA1 TX HOLDEM REN-A-GAUGE *EN (full brother to COLLATERAL DAMAGE *EN), CNI CAPRAGEN X46 "HUMMER" *EN, and finally to ANR XTRA LOAD.
